The V in the engine plant stamp indicates a Flint block, 1967 model year or later. The EB suffix was used in the '67 model year for a 275HP, 4B, AIR, MT in a Chevelle or El Camino. The 3892657 block was also used in Corvette but not with an EB suffix. So, check the casting date of the block, but it looks like it was assembled May 16, 1967 for a Chevelle/El Camino. Is there a VIN derivative?
