Default More Elect Help Please

1966 big block C2 427 L36 with Transistorized ignition. Because my photography leaves a bit to be desired I have added an crude wiring diagram to help confuse the issue. I have ordered a manual and wiring diagram but they have not arrived yet. My question is very simple, (at least to me) There are 5 wires in the passenger side front behind the grill that are just flapping in the breeze. There are 2 with u shaped connectors like you would see on a coil. And three that go into connectors and then all five go into a taped loom. Colors are as indicated. ( Ignore the blue, over spray from a substandard paint job.) The loom crosses over to the driver side front behind grill running along the bottom of the core support. Three go to a connector on the T/I box and the black goes to a ground screw on the core support above the horn. The large white one does not come out, and I see no place in the loom where it exits either. Now my question is, can I just remove this loom and the T/I box and put them away for later if I ever want to use them again? Are there any other systems that relies on these or will anything else be effected by the removal. Just out of curiosity is there something missing on the pass. side front that these would have connected to? Thanks in advance for help and advice.

Those look like the headlamp motor rollover switch wires, the ones that attach to the plunger type switches at each headlamp motor to let you know when the headlamp motor has not fully opened or fully extended.

I have no experience with TI, but this was given to me as a correct wiring diagram for a 66 with TI. If it helps great, if not, sorry.

I'll use this to attack it until my manual arrives. I found the two small gray wires disconnected and wired together that go to the up tell tale, whatever that means. Obviously some bubba has been in here before. I hate that! Oh well, gotta take the good with the bad.

Tells you that with the headlights on, one or both buckets aren't fully in the up position and flashes the light on the dash that says "lights"
