Default big block casting dates

what would the interval have been between casting the block in tonawanda to the build date of the car in st louis the vehicle is a 66 vette 427 390 hp 942 casting

Anywhere from two weeks to two months was typical. If you have Vol. II of the Noland Adams Restoration & Technical Guide book, there's survey data at the end of the 1966 chapter that shows a long list of 427 block casting dates vs. engine assembly dates vs. car VINs you can examine.
