New Garage Under Construction
The Connection to this Forum is that at least 3 of the cars that will live here will be Corvettes. 63 Split. 17 Z06. 68 427.
My Old Garage is on the left. 40 x 64 x 12.
The New Garage is slightly bigger.

Full disclosure. I sold my original garage to a friend so he would have room. I think he may have accomplished that.
I have acted as the project manager to pay him back for being such a great friend.

Roughly what kind of money are we talking? The reason I ask is I’m wanting to build one but I have some excavating and I have to meet hoa standards.
i had one quoted 2 years ago 48x32, 14ft ceilings, electric and dry walled for 58k. I’ve been putting back the money because I want to do cash instead of borrow.
very nice garage.

I will let you do the math. In our area $20 per square foot Metal pole barn built tight. Rodent proof.
Concrete runs $6 per square foot.
Add electrical $3K. I had 400 AMP on site. 200 AMP for this building. 15K to originally get power to the site. Bare bones Electrical.
Add 1/2 bath with rough in $2K. Add 6K if you need septic field. It adds up fast.
Septic tie in was already next to the building.

I hope the ceiling is high enough for a lift, you might need to start stacking them if you run out of space.....

OMG. Wouldn't it be nice to have all that space to put such a garage? So envious over here. Really nice home for the toys there. Jealous.

Uh, slightly larger? Looks like a Walmart distribution center. Congrats though. I’m with pop23235 on the back pocket but mine is more the size of the watch pocket on the front of your jeans.
