Default 65 intake manifold vacuum fitting

For a 1965 L76 with p/b and a/c the parts vendors show an intake manifold vacuum fitting with two ports. One supplies vacuum to the brake booster. What is the other one for? My a/c car only has one port yet everything seems to work okay. Where can I find a diagram of the vacuum lines? Thanks, Duke

If you don't have one already get the factory AIM. there is drawings in there for that under RPO C60

Hi Keith,
Have an AIM just not to good at using it. With your help I was able to find that drawing. Now I just have to find out where they got the vacuum source if not at the manifold fitting. The power brakes were added shortly before I bought the car and I have a feeling that’s when they installed the manifold fitting that is in the car. Thanks again, Duke

the power brake is RPO J50. the vacuum line drawing will be found there. but in the RPO C60 section there will be a drawing of the vacuum fitting for each combo of options that used the fitting. which was only AC (C60), power brakes (J50) and auto trans (M35)

Hi Keith,
Just thought I’d let you know that I ordered a vacuum hose set from Dr. Rebuild and it looks like it comes with a nice diagram for the system. Thanks again, Duke
