I was traveling all week and could not creat a reply from the PC at the business center in my hotel. I did not have a laptop with me since this was a business trip my wife was attending and I was only taggin along. The topic may have cooled off and I wanted to get this message to you this way to assure that you did not miss this suggestion due to not going back to the tread.
Look real closely at the front bearing cover on your 4 Speed. I had one (years ago) with a minute crack. I went nuts trying to find the leak. When I went to the dealer for a new part the replacement was much sturdier as in perhaps an enginerring design change had been made. If your car has the original cover (or even if it got a new one along the way) it might be cracked. Believe me nothin is gonna seal that up if there is a small crack. Once the grease heats up it WILL find its way out.
