Brian,

Thanks for the post...That's my son driving our '59 restomod...The car was covered here last month when it was featured in VETTE magazine...

Butch,

BTW...Steve Cook Creations did not build this C1 as I suggested to you in your previous post about restoration shop recommendations in Oklahoma...I just know Steve from another build...This car was built in Texas.

Yes Paul, I found the shop and intend to call them. That's an incredibly beautiful color and like you, I would have turned my nose up to any green too, but yours might be the most beautiful 61 I've ever seen. It certainly is the most tastefully done car and it's easy to see the color, style, chrome and wheels all came together perfectly. It's a knockout.

Beautiful color. Outstanding build! Well deserving of the Vette Magazine feature.

Resto-Mods do not need 17" tires and chrome wheels with LS engines to be Resto-Mods. The Corvette Editor needs to be aware of this. The car above is just an example of a high end Resto-Mod. There are many cars on the Resto-Mod spectrum that would also qualify as a Resto-Mod car.

The same thing can be said about a Ford Focus and a Cadillac Escalade. They are both modern cars, but at both ends of the technology spectrum.

Help me out here...I'm failing to see where the Corvette Editor "needs to be aware" or even raises an issue of a "Resto-Mod spectrum" for many other cars that "would qualify as a Resto-Mod car."......15"s..17"s..or 20"s...LS..Carb..or Supercharged.....They are all great cars!......
