Backup Lamp Switch Installation

Need a little help installing the backup lamp switch on my 66 4 speed Muncie. I searched the forum and found a few photos, but I can't find anything that shows exactly how or where the rod attaches to the arm(s) of the switch and exactly how the rod attaches to the end of the reverse shifter rod. If anyone has some good photos or a link to something in the forum, I'd really appreciate having them.

While I'm here, I'm going to go ahead and ask if there is any way to install the tunnel insulation without removing the shifter mechanism (engine and bellhousing not yet installed in the car but the tranny is hanging there. Cut it and retape with aluminum tape?

This is from my 65 but it should be the same as 66.

Hey, thanks Snake. That looks great. So, there should be a small hole in the reverse shift lever to retain the reverse switch lever.
