Who built your Restomod?
Just curious, since there are so many beautiful cars out there, who built your Restomod? I know there are more than a few on this forum who did it themselves, but not all of us have that talent.

If I had one and I could say Mike Coletta or "Bruce the Bodyman" -- then case closed...

By the way, you would be surprised how much talent you have! When you get stuck, just ask as you will get help. This isn’t rocket science....

Many on the forum have used Billy's frame, but Mike Coletta probably has more experience than anyone.

I'm building mine now. And with tons of help from the guys here. Some don't even know they are a great help but they are. Some of these are CBernhardt, I looked and looked at his web site getting ideas how to fabricate my chassis. Then one of the biggest and main aides was Ricky Ott letting me take measurements from his frame. CShermin and Dub have been a huge help with glass repairs and body work. I've tried to read and study most of Mike Colettas cars, I've picked up some great info from his builds. Of course by the time I'm finished mine will be completely out of date. I'm using that old C4 suspension and an LS3. Should be a perfect match as I am old and out of date. These are but a few that have helped.

Yes, I've spoken with Mike several times and he is an expert on billy's frames and likes them a lot. He's also forgotten more about corvettes than I'll ever know, but, Mike is retired and no longer building cars.
I just wondered if anyone has a car built by CC?
BH
You can PM me on this if you like.

Thanks Paul,
Lots of good choices there. Hopefully I can keep it close to home.

B Rod or Custom built mine (Knoxville TN. 865-281-8821) and couldn't
be more pleased. Also have NOS plated spears and rockers for
sale if interested.

I’m curious about the cost of doing one yourself vs a shop building it? I guess the frame/engine combo is where most of the money is?
