I have a TSP Distributor which has a rather large cap. I’d like to install a shield over this to give my engine a more Corvette look. The stock one is too small, I believe. Does anyone know of one that will work?
The only top shield that will work is the one used on 75-77's. You'll need the 75-77 top supports, and 68-77 vertical shields, too. The 75-77 top box doesn't look much like the midyear shielding, but it's the only shielding that will fit over an HEI distributor.
All of this is assuming your installing it on a small block. No big block Corvette came with HEI, so there are no stock big block top shield supports available. If you're installing it on a big block, you can probably modify a pair of 68-74 big block top supports to work with the 75-77 HEI shielding.

Yes, it’s on a big block. Thank you, I’ll take a look at those parts you mentioned.
