differences between whites and silvers?

differences between whites and silvers?
I was wondering what the difference is between 1959 Snowcrest white and 1960 Ermine white ? And what about 1959 Inca silver and 1961 sateen silver ? Darker. Lighter .?. More metallic ? . More "Creamy" ??. Any late model examples that are close to spot-on ? EXAMPLE, ( like a 2006 Nissan)?? Just thinking about the colors and the names . thanks for the help, D

FWIW, I chose to use 56-59 colors when I had my car painted 4 years ago with Dupont clearcoat codes; I found Inca silver to be warmer than Sateen. There is a touch of blue to the Sateen silver, whereas Inca is more of a true silver. Both have very small metallic flake content. Either is a very nice color, but a bear to match for touch up purposes.
I cannot yet compare the difference between Snowcrest and Ermine white, but I may soon as some touchup paint is on the way...
