The door panel had to come off the driver’s side of my 65, and when I went to reassemble everything, there was nothing behind one of the door pull handle screws. I took the panel back off and found the clip that the screw goes into rolling around down in the door.
It appears that it was attached with tiny rivets that apparently broke off. Has anyone done this repair?
I see that there are “Door Pull T-Nuts & Rivets” kits available, but I can’t tell much from the photo. Are they tiny pop rivets? Will they install with a standard rivet gun, or is there a specialty adapter needed?

I don’t have anything that small. What’s involved in installing the aluminum ones?
I fixed my prior post. If you DON'T have a rivet set, I would simply use pop rivets. Without completely dis-assembling the doors to get to the back side, the aluminum ones would be difficult to peen over like the factory did.
