64 headlight wiring
on a 64 headlight switch, I want to have to have the front parking lights on with the headlight
which terminal and wire do I have to move in the switch, thanks

Sorry for the rough drawing, but it is faster than some pretty computer generated version for me!
Jumper the two pins in the drawing shown. Easiest to do this on the back of the connector where you can remove the PL (parking light) terminal from the connector and move it to the unused pin for the second TL (tail light) output.
I just did this in my ‘64 when I was troubleshooting a tail light issue that required me to replace the headlight switch. I also installed relays to prevent the entire headlight load from going through the headlight switch.

thank you for the diagram, so connect it to the unused common terminal with the tail lights, correct

Yep, you are correct. With a jewelers screwdriver you can release the terminal from the connector and slide it out the back, then push it into the unused position shared with the tail light pin.

Oh and to be safe you should disconnect your negative battery cable. There are two live feeds to the connector even with the key off.
