Herb, I’m in NYC right now, but can get it for you Monday if you haven’t gotten it by then.

I know this is not what you are asking for but maybe it will help.

Hi Herb,

Not exactly sure if I understand what angle you are looking for, but on my 1963 I still have the stock pedals and stock Z-bar. I made the rod from the pedal down to the z-bar with heim joints on each end. I also have a McLeod RST dual disk clutch and I made custom spacers for the throw-out bearing to get the clutch fork at the proper angles.

All that being said, with the car sitting level and an angle checker placed on the custom rod from pedal to Z-bar, I’ve got 21 degrees, obviously sloping down towards the front.

The clutch pedal assembly has the option to set it up two ways, hard to explain, but if you look under the dash the open hole on the bracket is towards the front of the car, I’m using the rearward one. I don’t recall if this was a 1963 thing only or if other years also had the two positions.

Hope this helps.

Take care,
Rich

George, this is the bottom rod I think you are showing here that goes to the clutch, not between the clutch PEDAL and Z bar....Regards, Herb

that 21 degrees makes sense....I am putting in a hydraulic clutch TO bearing, I have a plate to put on the inside of the car and before I bond it in, I need to make sure that where I have the hole is correct for the rod to go through, hence why I wanted the angle. Thank you!

Sorry for the late response Herb - I was at a veteran's car show most of the day.....tough area to get a picture of and the flash distorted things a bit but here ya go. And I'm betting you know this car !

I show about 19* - everything is stock. I think 20* wouldn't put you far off!

I measure it with the "Clinometer" app on my phone and came up with 18.7 degrees!
