Goodguys end of season show at Scottsdale
My wife and I go every year. I think for about 15 years. I like cars and Hot Rods, but it's funny I see very few C2 is there. Any of you guys going, am about 6 or 8 months from having my car finished so maybe next year it'll be there.

Goodguys events always seem to offer a nice collection of just about everything from street rods, customs, hot rods, muscles cars, and anything in between. I doubt you will see many Corvettes especially C2s. Heck around here you don't see many C2s at Corvette shows unless you go to Carlisle.

GOODGUYS is not a show that many NCRS type cars go to. Its more of the SEMA type cars. Great street cars hot rods & customs are there. Its pricey to enter a car or to go so most factory correct car people don't go.

I go every year, to both events. I find that I can walk ONE aisle, reach the end and look up in the sky and Thank God that I'm NOT the dumbest car nut in the Universe. Then God reminds me that I am a "contender" for the title.

Brother, I know from your profile you live in PHX, but Goodguys does not have (in the regular folks area) SEMA type cars....there are about 2000 cars that run the gamut...you are right that there is no (not that I can tell) NCRS types....its really just a good time to end the season in a warm, car friendly, environment...I guess "pricey" is a relative perspective...Scottsdale, itself, is a pricey place....the two attached are the only c2 I saw last year...I do know the GS is not a authentic vette....but is cool.

Kenba, i am the OP. i appreciate your comments...was really saying that for such a great show and especially given the time of year, there never are many Corvettes there....but, I am looking forward to it....we'll drive up Friday morning and hang out for 2 days...its a great show and the weather in Scottsdale (as you know) that time of year is great.....

I go every fall/spring to the Scottsdale show. Had my 67 427 in the show a few years ago but you will only see a handful of Vettes....still a great show.

Several years ago when they were giving away the yellow fastback Mustang, I had qualified for the key turn by having my ticket drawn at Summit Motorsports Park Blue Suede Cruise. Went out to Scottsdale for the key turn....but my key didn’t start the car. It was still fun to go out and see the cars.

I'll be there with my Jewel blue/white cove 61. Original look down to ww and hubcaps but hiding a Billy Dawson Corvette Correction frame, C4 suspension, 4 wheel disc, R&P, ZZ4, 700R and air conditioning. Love Arizona in November. .
