'60 instrument cluster

Default '60 instrument cluster
I looked at pictures of the back side of the instrument cluster and it looks like the gas/temp gauge pair can be removed without removing the entire cluster.
Has anyone done that?

Yes, but you need small hands. Remove drivers seat and steering wheel for easier access.

Disconnect battery first and then take smartphone picture of wiring connections before disassembling.
