I recently painted my wife's 74 VW Superbeetle in Chromalusion. It's just about the same color, "Absolute Purpleen". Since the bug has no flat panels, the paint is really wild. I can identify about 7 different colors in it. I ain't gonna paint one of my vintage Vettes with that stuff, but I will say that when I have the bug out and about, it draws more attention than either of the Corvettes does.

This color is actually "Jade Prizm"... similar to Purpleen, but a little greener...
bet that 'bug looks awesome!!
