Default 383 stroker headers

Anybody running 1 5/8 long tube headers on a 383 stroker in a C2 with Edelbtock RPM straight plug heads. Using a concept one accessory drive. Wondering what fits best. Thx

These Summit brand are the cheapest of the two and fit the best the bottom one's are hookers they fit good but a little close to oil filter. I would run the Summit top pic

Why 1 5/8 over 1 7/8? Try AR headers as well. They only list 68+ but the dimensions are the same C2 and C3.... and they come with slip fit connectors.

I would like to see each of those sets in the chassis too... They Summit ones look like they might interfere more with "stuff"

I have the summit one's in my 64 best fit for any header in any car I have had headers on. Do not interfere with anything. The Hookers are in my 58 and fit nice.

I would say why 1 5/8" over 1 3/4". Usually 1 7/8" primary tubes are hard to fit on a SBC with the standard exhaust port. Some require an adapter that changes the center in-line 2 bolt to a triangular 3 bolt.

I have a pretty cool set of DynoTech headers for my 69 Camaro that are 1 3/4" off the head stepped to 1 7/8". But 1 3/4" should be good for a stout street car. I only bought the DynoTechs because I got them cheap.
