Cool story, and thanks for sharing. Sounds like both parties were happy. Hopefully the new buyer will get it back on the road.

Great job jv
I was pretty sure you'd hit a good number with this project.
What a lot of people don't think of, is that there are a lot of guys out there who would really like to have a C2 but cost keeps a lot out of the game and there are only so many of them left. They aren't making any more of them. EVERY C2 project is saleable to the right buyer. Sounds like this buyer is a hands on guy which is perfect. In a couple years this car will be tooling down the road getting a thumbs up from everyone.
I like to see them saved.
G.

The new owner is looking forward to getting to work on this car.

He used to own a 71 that he had to sell to pay for college for his son.

He always wanted a C2, just could not quite swing a complete car. This car is actually pretty complete, just in a bunch of pieces.

It turned out to be a lot more than what was originally promoted in the first post - the sweetener would've been the extra parts, an ongoing

Pretty cool that a guy who really couldn't afford a C2 was able to purchase his dream, and hopefully rebuild it.
