It could go either way I suppose, but I certainly was not going to be last on Saturday, which is where they initially had my Corvette consigned. I hope to set the bar high! I fly out in 8 hours, so good night until tomorrow

It really should not matter. I mean, after all, Jeff Hayes gave the finger to Barrett-Jackson and moved to Mecum, but this year he decided to return with his red split window. Go figure. He was all about Mecum after his last car sold for 210K at barrett jackson in a previous auction.
I have to wonder who that dude knows or pays at both companies to pimp his cars as hard as they do!

I'm never going to sell my cars so I don't see BJ in my future. I know nothing about selling there but I read that the sellers fee is based partially on the date and lot number. With lower value cars being earlier in the day. Just something I was reading based on how some cars are placed ahead of others.

That is false. Maybe the consignment fee varies day by day(not sure about that though), but everybody pays 8 percent when they sell. Perhaps if you consign a 1990 Toyota Corolla on Tuesday morning at 10am they cut you a break, but I don't think so.

Slight problem. My son was sick last night with a fever and i missed my 5am flight. Im now leaving at 1pm and will land at 7pm. I'm going to do my best to get to the auction, but it probably won't be until 8pm at the earliest. I hope they are open late tonight. Ill text you in a little bit.

First off sorry to read about your son, hope he is ok. I'm sure your stress level is high enough without throwing more wood on the fire. As I said I know nothing about BJ just ran across the seller fees on their page and a couple of other spots. 4. in the link. Anyway good luck to you and Rob I like the rest here hope y'all both hit home runs.

I managed to get an earlier flight. I will now land at 4:20. I'm glad southwest was easy to work with and refunded my money.

And yes, stress level is out the roof!

It would be a really great favor is some of you guys that are there could post some C1 resto mod interior photos. I'm in middle of project and could use some ideas. things like air conditioning vents, door panels , radio speakers etc. I'd really appreciate it. Jerry
