What year was graduation class? High school , Elmont Valley Stream could be Valley Stream North or Valley Stream Central . Lots of great cars and fun back then.

1965...VSC was class A...Elmont, VSN, Cary, New Hyde Park & Floral Park HS were class B. Sewanaka HS was the central HS until 1957 when theses schools were created to handle the baby boom generation. Floral Park was the smallest school. 1$ bought you 4 hamburgers, fries & shake at McDonald’s.

Oh yes, the Big Bow Wow. The fire department used to hose down Cross Bay Blvd. to dampen the racing. Is S&K Speed Shop still in business. I used to go to the shop on Coney Island Ave. Who could forget, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday at National Speedway. How about Vitar Engineering and Nunzio's in Brooklyn. Jerry
