Hello all.
Im a corvette lover but especially the classics...
Ive owned 3 C4 generation vetes and am looking to find a C2 now.
Any advise??? So far it seems like i am finding that the 63 is a rougher ride than the 64 and up because of solid bushings.
Im leaning towards somewhere between 64-67 and advice ?????

Where are you getting your information about bushings, factory suspension bushings have always been rubber.
What are you looking for engine and transmission wise?

He must be referring to body mount cushions. See old thread here with Duke and John Z. 63s ride more harshly than later mid years.

One thing, when you ask a question, title your thread in a way that describes the question so that members might have a reason to click on the thread. Look at the other threads. Titling it with your name doesn’t provide any information.

Since you didn't disclose your budget, C2 type or mechanical knowledge I will provide my opinion.
I like 65-67 model years for disc brakes, and what I consider to be easier to find parts. Drive several cars before purchasing and take an expert or hire one to inspect your potential purchase (provette67 is a popular choice).Ask lots of questions and post pictures to get the most feedback. If possible find a car that gets driven vs something from a collection.
As for Ride Quality/Harshness, Search the forum for similar questions.

A second, welcome to the CF! I will reinforce the thoughts of others about test driving as many cars Vettes as possible and having a C-2 experienced person go over your choice. Your intended use is very important. Small block (SB) engines are easy on the wallet for maintenance and overall simple enjoyment. Depending on where you live, A/C may be to your likeing in a coupe more so than a convt. Get yourself a couple of books about the full range of the C-2 series.
