Hi all , George here , trying to find out what after market intake manifold will fit under the stinger hood of my 66 big block , any help would be great. Thanks
Mine is a '67 but I was able to get a Dart intake and a Victor Jr. under the factory '67 big block hood. The carb did have the choke horn milled off and I used the factory drop base for the air cleaner. I also used a slightly shorter air cleaner element but I can't remember the height. Hope that helps.

Reason: year of hood
I don’t know about aftermarket, but I’m using a GM 3963569 with a 4150 Holley and have plenty of clearance under my 67 Stinger hood, even with a 1” spacer.
This one should fit rectangle port heads: https://www.holley.com/products/inta...lds/parts/8018
For oval port heads: https://www.holley.com/products/inta...lds/parts/8019
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifolds apparently don't fit under a stock hood. Their website doesn't even show older kinds of manifolds these days (old Performer RPM, Torker, etc.). An old Torker 2-O manifold for oval port heads will fit, tight but all under a stock 65/66 BB hood. Had one on my '65 NOM 427.
