I saw that pic on Toddalins car with the billet alt bracket.
Who makes nice looking bracket for RH side mounting that works with SBC headers?
I am going to get rid of the tach drive alternator on my car and just hook the (new) tach cable to my Accel dual sync dizzy shortly, and would like to replace the stamped steel, ugly, alternator lower bracket.
Thanks,
Doug
Changing my thinking a little bit,I now have Dart heads with front mount holes, instead of the old 461/462 heads I had years ago.
Anybody familiar with a mount like this? I need the alternator in the stock (generator) location for hood and fresh air vent clearance. I am using a 12SI alternator. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/m...make/chevrolet

I am using one very similar, although left side, also have Dart heads. It is a March setup, with serpentine dive. You won't be disappointed if you go that route. Not a very good pic to see it though.
One nice thing about the Header Power Brackets is that the right side brackets use the very common and readily available (aka cheap) left side F-brackets. The typical GM right side bracket/exhaust manifold mount would use a different F-bracket (wider bolt hole spacing to account for the 0.9" difference in offset) that is not easy to locate, and not cheap.
Over the years, I've had just two people buy right brackets and note that their stock F-bracket did not fit for this very reason.
