Default It's getting there

I went to the body shop today and he has one side in prime/sealer. It shouldn't be long before the whole car is done.

On another note my friend and I dropped off our chrome at the plating shop. We both had sticker shock!!
I had 21 pieces to do.
The good thing is that he is only 1 hour 15 mins from us so there is no shipping and we can inspect the parts before we pay for them.
Joe

Went to the body shop today and the car is ready for paint, it will be done tomorrow.
He painted the deck lid, trunk and hood. They still need to be sanded and rubbed but they look great.

That looks good. The rechrome and stainless repair/polish will definitely give you sticker shock.

Did you get the chrome back and were you happy with the quality?

Body looks great, by the way.

N.E.L. Metal Restorations in Philly PA.
He has been in business many years and is very familiar with the Vette stuff.
He is doing 21 pieces for me, bumpers, all the front surrounds, grille bar, door and windshield posts, door handles and buttons, bumperettes and license plate pieces.
$4,375.00.

Last Friday it was ready for paint, now it is painted and sanded and just needs to be rubbed. Check out the door!
Hopefully it will be done before I go to Florida next week to see my new garage/house.
Joe

Are you going with the silver cove, or all white? Should be spectacular either way.
