One problem resolved, I had the 14 gauge Pink wire installed incorrectly (the bottom Vacant prong) on the ignition switch. It has been properly relocated. Now, no blinking turn signal lights with the ignition off. Still working on the other problems. The license lights are new and properly grounded with a test light are functional. Being a novice, I am not sure how to correct this grounding problem. I notice that there is a ground attached screwed into the inner bumper frame. Also, how does one test for continuity on a long wire (purple from under dash to tail light) with a basic multimeter that has two short prongs. Obviously, I am a novice when it comes to electrical issues.

For the purple wire in question you can put the 12V on the circuit then trace it back that way. Or get a couple long wire test leads for your multi meter and look for a open circuit between the connector to the light in the trunk.
