I don't know, if the stretched body lines stay true to the concept drawing, I don't think it looks bad at all, not like the abortion shown a few posts back.

Many years ago I was at a huge cruise-in when I saw what looked like a Shelby Cobra from a distance. As I approached there was something about it that didn't look right. I couldn't put my finger on it at first, but the proportions were just off. Turns out it was a "replica" built on an unmodified C3 Corvette frame. It wasn't badly done and if I had never before seen a Shelby Cobra it would have been very appealing. BUT, I had seen lots of Cobras before and it didn't look appealing. It just looked like a bad imitation of a cool car. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder so I don't criticize others for liking things I don't. But I'm not fond of any mid-engine C2 I've ever seen.

The fact that the Sting Ray can be altered, widened and stretched, while still maintaining a visibly attractive proportional shape is a tribute to Larry Shinoda's artistic talent.

If the stretch mid-engine model were widened, with current era wide tires under widened fender creases, the proportional appearance will improve (IMO, and we need a 3/4 view rendering to offer qualified judgement).

Interesting idea. Running the coolant lines to the front radiator seems like a gigantic challenge.

Follow the route of the existing exhaust.

The radiator shroud and heated air exit path is a challenge, but the package is easier with modern electric fans that can draw some static pressure.

It is the 2+2 models that look strange, here is the one that looks best

”to offer a qualified judgement?” Who would that be since the car has yet to be built and then what would qualify someone to make judgement? I think OPINIONS are all that can be offered not judgements.
