Tux the rules are clearly spelled out in the registration form you send in when you pay to have YOUR car judged. That your car can not leave until all activity’s are over and judging chairman releases the cars. I would guess most know going in if the car is legit or not and leave it up to the judges to find it and when they do they either plead the 5th or make a scene. I only been at one meet where a car was disqualified And just like any other social gathering miniuts after there is a lot of talking going on amongst others about it.

All Fisher Body stampings (and most GM Car Division stampings) have "run numbers" stamped into them which identify the stamping plant where they were made and the calendar week of the year they were made. This has been normal business for decades. Most fiberglass panels either have a rubber-stamped ink date on them or a label.

Simply not true on either count. On any given day of judging at a regional event there are many cars not being judged, a car setting on the floor with no judging happening on it is not uncommon at all. The ribbons are handed out at the banquet after the judging is over so their are no cars setting around with ribbons on them.

More of this

from guys who have never attended any NCRS event, and don't intend to. But they are "experts" on the subject.
And Roy, I'm not talking about you (of course).

Not sure what’s in the water on the forum today (“Spring Fever?”) but these exchanges are getting repetitive and not really going anywhere at this point.
