I'm looking at a 65 and I need to talk to someone that is an expert on valuation of Corvettes, especially C2s. I have some information that leads me to be concerned with the price being asked, but it may just be ignorance. Who can I call to get some info on what drives values?
Got some good information from one of the Forum members and I'm passing on the car. Thanks to all for the advice!

Reason: Update
Welcome to the forum. I agree with 68hemi - as a forum member, you will get the best answers by posting pictures of the car along with your questions. From there you can private message anyone who responds to your thread if you want a one on one conversation. You can also search the forum for previous threads that may already have the answer

If privacy is a concern, engage a professional C2 inspector. Even though they cost money, a pro can save you thousands, as hidden hard to find defects can reduce the value of these cars by half or more (think birdcage), missing or falsified high value parts can reduce values by thousands, and mismatched parts can cost hundreds to make right. Don't overpay, get a pro to look at your prospective car.
Posting pictures helps to get knowledgeable opinions from the forum (as well as some snaky know it all low value opinions) but it is hard to see some important value-determining factors from pictures.
If you are looking for an inspection that is really mandatory before you price it, contact Pancho Thompson (Provette) on this Forum. He just completed two evals on a pair of '67s for me. Outstanding work and a great guy who can give you a very informed perspective on C2s.
