G91 is the non-positraction 3.08 axle that was available in place of the base 3.36 non-positraction axle on medium performance engines with any transmission through '65. Both ratios were also available with positraction (G81) regardless of transmission.

In general, any optional ratio REQUIRED G81.

In reference to the Noland Adams book, I will double check, but thought the G91 was only available w/M20. Also, is my thinking correct....G91 best for "touring"?

Also, do you know of source for production number vettes w/specific engine / option combinations? I do not mean production numbers for each engine and each option individually, but rather the combination and applicable numbers
