Hopefully you will get a name or two in the states you requested. But if not, contact APS Tower Paint or TCP Global and go mail order. Both companies I stated sell lacquer based paint, and TCP is a PPG Distributor. Google the names for contact information.

Larry

EDIT: Tower is in Wisconsin. TCP is in California.

TCP global has their restoration shop brand lacquer. I've purchased rallye red in the past. Perhaps give them a call and have it shipped.

Default paint

Evening... The last time I purchased lacquer paint about 2 yrs ago was from Painters Supply and Equipment, 23838 Van **** Ave, Warren Michigan 586-754-5600.
It was PPG, just a heads up... NOT CHEAP. Give them a call see if they still carry, if not in a hurry may be able to pick up for you, do not ship to Canada.

Just be aware that the lacquer paint sold today is nothing like the lacquer paint that was put on the car years ago it does not contain any of the nasties that made lacquer paint so good. And if you take care of it it really was good.

Hi Silver Coupe many thanks for message re Glen Green lacquer paint on e bay.

Just back from holiday, and sale ended on 15th so I have missed out on it.
Unable to contact seller per ebay. If you come across anything else, I would appreciate your help.
I have contacted 1 vendor in New Jersey and 2 in MIchigan so far, but luck.
Do they sell lacquer paint in your state?? Best regards Doug Young London Ontario.

I am looking for a PPG dealer who can mix the lacquer wheel paint
containing a suede additive to give it a rough texture.
Was used on 70-74 Z28's and 71 Chevelle.

Here in our small bayou towns in SE Louisiana, the stores next to the VCR repair shops are usually vacant. For lacquer paint we have to go into the big city.

When specifying paint color, the name of the paint is not sufficient information.
The year and make of the car must be added.
The paint number and the manufacturer is the best way to order paint.
