Default 67 Deck Lid Support

Is there an adjustment to the springs that hold the rear deck lid open?
Mine sags and makes you hold it open to get the top to clear when putting it up or down.
I don't remember ever having to hold it open on my other 67s.
Thanks in advance,
Lou

Lou: check to see which notch the top of the spring is in.

Thanks,
The spring is in the center notch.
Should it be on the end one?
How do I move it?

What you do is, with the deck down and the spring extended, insert shims between the coils to keep the spring extended while you gently raise the lid just enough to move it to the rear notch.

Always nice to fix something that detracts from enjoying your Corvette! Still several on my 2 lists.
