Default $3K For Standard Steering Wheel?

I can appreciate that some original wheels (and the true teak wheels) can bring pretty tall money but doesn't this seem a little high for a simulated wood (plastic) wheel?
I think if it were mine and someone was willing to shell out $3,000 for it, I'd probably offer free shipping.

I don't think the Corvette ever had a walnut steering wheel. Teak, yes. Plastic, yes. Jerry

I always understood it as a walnut silmulated wood plastic wheel

Wow - guess I need to pull my old (but not cracked) one off the wall of my garage and stick it in the gun safe.

Must be trying to get his child into a fancy university. And it may be know as plastic walnut but the grain pattern is mahogany. Walnut is a much tighter grain.

Free shipping? But if you have a sucker on the line at $3K might as well take his pocket change also

This seller has had this wheel listed since 2007. So not sure that this one is best to use as a market guide.

I put a smaller after market steering wheel on mine about 5 years ago. Since my original has a crack in the plastic, I’ll let it go for $2k😂😂😂
