The driver's side should be about 1" off the lower stainless trim and the passenger side 1" above that - both should be nearly horizontal - original arms had a screw in the side to adjust the "horizontal-ness"...

With mention of an adjustment, I am wondering if there is an adjustment for how far the arm swings in it's arc, as in my driver side travels to far and goes out over the window trim, but yet comes to rest perfectly at the bottom when shut off. Kind of weird that it travels to far in one direction. Other wise they come to park as described above, Any ideas?

If the wiper arm is the proper length - then the adjustment above should take care of that....there is no adjustment for the arc...
Well both of my wipers are the same length, which is correct as far as I know, and it's the whole blade that goes to far, not just the tip end (which would be the result of it being to long I believe). Could something be worn out in the swing arms that would allow one travel direction to go to far. It's had me stumped for awhile, but since they're rarely used not the first thing on the list.

I have heard of the wiper arms being hooked to the pivot points incorrectly causing similar problems.
