AC 212 air filter element
I need a replacement air filter for my '67 small block car.
I have two types I can use. Both fit the stock 14" open element air cleaner housing, but as you'll see, they look different.
The top filter is from NAPA. It uses a fine plastic mesh to contain the paper element.
The bottom filter uses a metal mesh to hold the filter element.
I did find an equivalent filter from FRAM, but won't use it because its gasket is bright orange - definitely not a 'stock' look.
So, which of the above is a better facsimile of the original AC 212 paper filter originally installed in our cars?
