Default Date code on this Holley 2818

OK, I have read through so many forums filled with contradicting information regarding Holley date codes. So forgive me if I throw my arms up and ask....what is the Julian date on this Holley List 2818-1 dated 554?

Thanks

Surprised with the front bowl. I know that was used on the 64 2818, but thought it changed for the 65 2818-1, no?

I know of a early 1965 car built in November 64 that has the same primary bowl with the eye and roof. It's a hard to come by part if you are a purist, I sent it out to have a helicol installed for the bolt that holds the banjo fitting, that thread is very unusual, not common at all.

Yes, I could use a couple of them.

Not all that uncommon. They made them in batches. I've seen quite a few with my date code, 521.

just curious, may we see your front and rear bowl?

Incredible... but your carb is more green. I'm wondering if mine was cleaned up during a restore, or was yours re-coated during a restore?

Here's one I have that is more "olive" in shade. Probably off an early '64 L76.
List 2818 (no dash -1); 3A3 1963, November, 3rd week.

That would be a perfect 2818 carb for my 64-365 engine built 12-21-63, car built on Jan 12th 64!!!
Mine has a 2818-1, & I say I am a guy that will never have the car judged, but...
if you want to sell that one, PM me.
