I have the same problem on passenger side on my 60 Corvette, It stops about 3/8 inch from lower than driver's side at the rear upper corner. I think the replacement fuzzy metal piece in the door post is too narrow? (Not the section in the curved corner) I'm trying to adjust the windows so I can adjust the soft top frame. Considering adjusting the top where it should be, get a soft top installed, and work out the issue later. Not interested in removing the post after the access hole has been plugged and the weatherstripping installed..

Welcome to the forum! There could be several things going on. Loose track, broken roller, etc. You’ll need to remove the door panel and then run the window up and down to see what the problem is. It’s probably hanging on something. If it doesn’t, then possibly a long screw in the armrest might be it. You’ll find it.
