Default Ride height

I want to lower the rear on my 66 vert about 2 “. I have read about changing the bolts to 8” long for the main spring. How to I adjust the sway bar links, should they be drawn down some or just snubbed up. By the looks of my setup I really can’t adjust the stock bolts very much now. The rear spring appears to be recently replaced, is taking a leaf out an option? Looks to be a 9 leaf.

Cut one full coil in front 8" bolts in back. Have nuts on bolts turned up quite a bit I could come down another inch or so in the back

That’s what I’m looking for, you’re using the original bolts in the back or the 8” ?

No need the adjust your aftermarket sway bar it will just rotate in its bushings as the car is lowered using the 8 inch bolts - be sure to use high strength bolts with provision for the carter pin.

How tight should that sway bar be tightened ? Does that affect ride height at all ?

You want the sway bar links tight to take out any free play. That way the bar is effective through the entire range of motion.
