Default Vent window space


Gap at vent widow rear bottom and door trim. Tried to adjust with the vent mounting screws and hex screw, no good.
Is this a normal space?

This is what I would suspect is causing the gap. Below are pics of my fix. It is a very common problem with C2 doors.
