The Blast From The Past Drag Racing FB Page has some good old time photos, including many of C1 and C2 Corvette's. Here is one, looks like one car towing the other. Hope the black and white is stopping to help!!!

Some of the car I owned (not all Corvettes) back in the day. I did not get pictures of very many of them, I was busy enjoying and driving them just as I do today.

I really enjoy looking at these "day two" type pictures from back in the day. Thanks.

There was another EPIC tread on photos from the era... but it seems to have drifted down the list.
Here is my dad with the car I now own... New in 1961.

Flared fenders on C2s was a thing of beauty back in the 60s. You would pay a premium over a stock fendered car for those flares.

Sorry for the late response. I don’t recall which was the 400 but it was the 289 hippo engine. Answer is yes to other questions.
I also sent you a PM.

Came across another old photo..... flares, duck tail spoiler AND sunroofs!!! Gotta say, aside from the sunroofs, the flares and the spoiler look kinda cool from this angle. Would have liked to see what it looks like from the side.....

This was the old girl I had back in the 70's. Ducktail, Hooker headers/side pipes and a 365hp 327. Rebuilt everything myself then she was stolen when I took a job in Las Vegas.

That's a shame but these cars were targeted by the thieves back then and based on the picture it was obvious why.
