Where might I be able to order a new ignition switch (with keys) for my 1964 Corvette? The current switch seems to fire the engine only when the current switch is released, not when turned to the right. Thanks for any suggestions!
before you spend needless time and money and create new headaches, check to see if you have 12 volts going from the starter solenoid to the + coil wire when in the start position.
A quick test would be to connect a jumper wire from the positive on the battery to the + wire on the coil and see if it starts when you turn the key to start. If it does, you have a lost connection between the starter solenoid and the coil + wire (should be pink or black with pink stripe). After you release the key, the voltage comes from the ballast resistor instead of the solenoid, so that is likely working correctly.
1. SMP switch from NAPA or Ebay. A decent replacement to get you going.
2. NOS. Ebay has them, and they are a bit pricey $$$. Get the GM part number for your switch (Probably #1116xxx) and then search Ebay for the GM or DELCO factory replacement. Also do A GOOGLE search for that part number, as there may be a few Corvette places that have one on the shelf........although this is unlikely.

PS: The 1967 switch number is #1116686. Your number will be less than this, but unsure of exactly what it is at this time without checking. The factory AIM will have it and a search of this C2 forum will also provide it.
Late edit: A quick search indicates you need a GM #1116635 switch. Info from old JohnZ post in our archives.
