Default More numbers help

Can anyone give me some info on the following numbers:

Rear springs have the following numbers 3751438 340E8
(one of the leafs on one spring is really tweaked since this is not a numbers matching car would I be better off having the springs repaired or buying new ones?)

Distributor 1111015 Delco Remy 5019 (on the siver band) and 951 cast in the shaft.

Thanks for any help. Ray

The 1111015 distributor was used in '63-'65 Passenger, Chevy II, and Chevelle 283's. The spring is the standard C1 rear spring, made by Eaton in early December 1958. A good spring shop should be able to look at it and tell you if it can be repaired or not.
