To be more accurate, a common system. The brake pedal, for most of its throw is a valve that directs hydraulic pressure, using Castrol RR363, glycol based until 1980 when they went to mineral oil. The brakes are pressurized from two cam driven pumps, two independent circuits, two calipers on each front wheel. Same system operated the leveling, the cars use steel springs.

This thread has outlived its usefulness, the chatter reminds me of small talk standing in line to the pisser.
