Default Ford Cougar II

1963 concept car. "Unlike anything else from Ford", but kinda similar to a Chevrolet that I have seen.

That front fender line is very reminiscent of the '61-'63 T-bird.

It has the aerodynamics of an airplane wing and probably flies like one at speed.

"Enough lift to be a bad airplane" as the expression goes.

One of the first model cars I ever built way back then. Underneath, the chassis looked very much like the small block Cobra of the day with inboard disc brakes on an IRS in the rear and a 289 Ford, with 4 Webers.

1963 Ford Cougar II concept

Perhaps a coupe version of the 1962 Mustang I concept car...

I remember seeing the rather small Mustang I when an undergrad at UCLA. A very clean design but impractical as all heck.

Not my first model car but my first attempt at spray painting. Learned about spraying it on too heavy. Still have to be reminded.

Rear glass sure looks like an unsplit C2 coupe rear window to me.

I think it’s too long (front to rear dimension) for that?
