I'm having a hard time finding a lot of faults based on the photos, but I am sure some people can see more than me.
My (minor) criticisms are the replacement oil pan, and the fill area where the cage meets the fiberglass in the B-pillar area looks different on each side (might mean something, might mean nothing at all).
Good call on all points. I just looked at the most recent TIMJG, cites the breakover point from early to late stamped covers was around #13,000.
Well, my mistake on the valve covers, then. I admit I'm surprised the early covers survived that long and I'm well aware the judging manual has more than it's share of errors.
The last split window I looked at for the OP got flipped so I’ll bow out. I don’t mind looking over cars that potential buyers intend to keep and I’ve even traveled to do so.

That's completely false. It never bought that car intending to flip it. I owned it 6 months, made thousands in improvements with the plan of keeping it, then sold it due to an investment opportunity that did not materialize.

Jim, I have no idea personally. You very well may be right, and the guide is wrong. I've never owned a lower-hp small block, so I know nothing about the nuances among stamped valve covers.
