Default Reproduction Windshield Assemblies and Door Posts

Has anyone tried the aftermarket windshield assemblies and door posts? If so, how did they fit? Are they all made by Cranes?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the Auto City Classics door glass assemblies?

TIA,

Wes

About two years ago I finally got around to installing Power Windows in my 61. The old door windows were in need of replacement as were the chromed window frames. Along with the Auto City PW kit, I also bought their new framed door windows.
Had a few issues lining things up for the new PW regulators but as far as the framed windows were concerned, they are a nice product.

Thanks for the feedback on the door windows Mike.

Does anyone have experience with the door posts and windshield assemblies?

The windshield frame assembly is not made by crane they are made in Virginia and while at one time they would sell the parts separately now they will only sell them as assembled. If you are wanting one of these give sales a call on Monday and they'll give you a good price. I did the test fit on portions of this assembly probably 10 years (if not longer) ago. In regards to the door post, I don't know who is making them or if they are available, I've not checked in a long time. But as far as the windshield frame assemblies, they fit great.

IMHO,

Willcox

I have installed several auto city windshields and they have been great.
