Default Muffler Hangers

Do they make another muffler hanger that mounts in the same spot as the stock one but is solid, no rubber in the middle?

I need something that I can mount the muffler to that won't move.

Thanks!

Here is a post that I started to raise the rear end, but you will find a couple of non-NCRS BUBBA hangers that have been used by others.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ch-or-so.html?

I was going to try to make mine a little more professional, but my BUBBA fix works so well I haven't gotten around to it.

Jim has a post about #22 and mine is about #32 showing what we did. Jim's is a lot simpler, but I am retarded and have more time on my hands.

Good Luck

Ron

Thanks.. i read the post, before i posted i was actually thinking about taking the stock hanger, drill the rivets out, remove the rubber ring and put a threaded rod in between the two bracket plates. than i can set the length how i want.

Great post!

i think they turned out pretty good, no more trying to hold muffler up and tighten at the same time. Mufflers don't move and tips don't rattle anymore. Thanks
