Ground strap orientation

'57 270 passenger side front mount - what's the correct orientation/location for the ground strap?

Shouldn't be any orange paint on the nut, washer, or the ground strap - only on the motormount bracket.

Unfortunately I don't have a good image of this which is what prompted my post. My car is very original and all three of those items have paint on them.

Paint or no paint, my picture is from the original not the mutl copied assembly manual.... It's my belief that the bracket (as your bracket shows) was painted with the engine before installation. However, the bolts, nuts and washers were installed later after the engine was installed and would not have any paint on the other parts. You should consult with the 56-57 NCRS team leader and they should be able to point you in the right direction or purchase from NCRS the judging guide for your car....
