Looking for advise or experience for a larger capacity fuel tank. Ricks will make just about any dimension you want. Previously considering a Fuel Safe or ATL fuel cell ,but none of the standard sizes (22gal ) offered fit with out notching the frame or hacking exhaust panel. Also Issue's with bladder lifespan. Stock tank's sit on top of the frame , typically for rear collision safety . If you add capacity downward , the frame crush could slice the tank open upon rear impact . Limited space to work with . Probably have to build a safety box / mount around it. Any help appreciated .
Can’t help with your question but I had them build me a stock replacement for my 69 with an in tank pump and it is a work of art. Great guys to deal with and top notch quality.

Good to know....I plan to go this route when I eventually swap to fuel injection later down the road.
