Brights not working light switch or floor switch? Regular head lights work, when I step on the floor switch, all light go off, step again low beams come back on

I have the same problem but have done nothing about it. So, thanks for asking and hopefully someone can help us both.

If everything goes out, either the dimmer switch on the floor is bad, or you have a break in the wiring between the switch and the bright circuit of all 4 headlamps.
You didn't say what year, but if your car is the 63 listed in your profile, Napa price is $15. Two screws and one connector. Check the wires in the connector, they may be burned or loose.

I removed the dimmer switch, cleaned to contacts on the dimmer switch, sprayed some electric contact cleaner into the neck if the dimmer switch and into the female connection on the wire harness. Reassembled/reinstalled,works great.
